JEE Main 2021 Application Form

JEE Main is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam is the 1st stage of IIT JEE. Based on the performance in this exam, the students are granted admission into various undergraduate courses in IITs, NITs and other prestigious engineering colleges. Students have to visit the official website to fill the application form for JEE main 2021. The registration process starts on December 16th, 2020. The last day to submit the JEE Main application form online is January 16th, 2021. 17th January 2021 is the last day to submit the application fee.

The deadline should be strictly followed as the exam conducting authority will not entertain any requests after the submission day is over. Students have to be very careful while filling the JEE Main 2021 Application Form. They should avoid mistakes while filling the details like name, contact number, category.  After successful completion of the application process, they have to submit a scanned copy of certain documents. Students are recommended to go through the JEE Main eligibility criteria given by the exam authority. Once they meet the eligibility, they can fill the form. Else the application will be rejected by the exam conducting authority.

According to the guidelines of NTA, only one application form is provided per student. The registration will be cancelled if a student submits more than one application form.

Documents Required

  • 10th-grade documents
  • 12th-grade documents
  • Aadhar Card
  • Email id
  • Phone number
  • Scanned copy of passport size photo
  • Scanned copy of the signature
  • e-Challan details
  • Voter ID card, Ration card number, Bank account number, Passport number, etc.

Application Form Correction

The correction process of the JEE Main application is initiated by the exam conducting authority on their official website. The students can edit any incorrect and incomplete information in their application forms on the official website. The applicants can even upload fresh images if the previously uploaded images have any issues.

The national testing authority (NTA) releases the JEE Main 2021 Admit Card on their official website. Students can download the same by using the application number, password, and date of birth. Students are recommended to check whether all the details mentioned in the card are correct. JEE Main admit card is used to verify the student’s identity during the examination and the selection process. It is also needed for counselling. Hence the students are recommended to keep it safe till the whole admission process gets over.

The admit card includes the name of the candidate, roll number,  the application number, course name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, photograph, category, test city, centre code, shift, exam date, timings, and reporting time. If any error is found in the admit card students have to contact NTA and get it corrected as early as possible. Even though the JEE exam is considered as one of the toughest examinations at the undergraduate level in India, students can crack it easily through proper preparation and hard work.
