Along with 170,000 other Indians, he attempts to evacuate his family tenaciously, but he encounters many obstacles in the process. Finally, Indians were allowed to leave the city on an Air India flight.

Lakshya is one of the top Hindi movies that millennials can associate with. The plot of Lakshya centers on Karan, a carefree young man with a wide range of interests but no discernible purpose. The Indian Constitution’s Article 15 forbids discrimination on the basis of sex, religion, race, caste, or place of birth, and the movie is based on this provision. Article 15 depicts policemen covering up the murder and gang rape of three 15-year-old girls because they come from a lower caste. It was inspired by the real-life Badaun killings and is a moving homage to Alan Parker’s 1988 procedural thriller Mississippi Burning.
